Amy deHueck, Stroke Care Coordinator for Joseph Brant Hospital, was the featured speaker at our January monthly meeting. She presented to us details and progress of new stroke treatment and recovery methods reported at the World Stroke Congress that was held in Montreal earlier this month. On December 9th we once again filled the March of Dimes bus to attend Come from Away at the Royal Alexandria theatre in downtown Toronto. We had great seats to see a great show. Many thanks to Debbie Butler for organizing our outing. A total of 19 members attended.
