We are Stroke Recovery Canada, Burlington Chapter, a volunteer-based group that since 1980 has provided stroke survivors and their families with an environment in which they can meet, for social and educational programs, information and the peer support of a group.

We represent an often overlooked, misunderstood and often isolated segment of the population that is now growing as Canada's population ages. Over one percent of the population are currently stroke survivors.

We have now extended our service to the community by offering information, via the World Wide Web, on the topics on the left of the screen.

Further, within the site, you will find information on local SRN (Stroke Recovery Network) / SRC Chapters serving Ontario, and information aimed at students, young and old, interested in learning more about stroke.
